It is structured to be ideal for someone wishing to focus on parenting, phased retirement, gaining experience in HR while pursuing education or otherwise balancing work and life with a focus on the life side of the equation.
Schedule will be very flexible, targeting 24 hours per week.
Mondays will be a required day in the office, and the successful incumbent can choose to work three 8-hour days or four 6-hour days.
Other than Mondays, days of work are flexible.
After training is complete, hybrid work is available in this role, allowing one day of work from home per week.
Part-time positions do not have full benefits, but do receive holiday pay, bereavement pay, and paid parental leave benefits as well as 401(k) eligibility with matching contributions that vest immediately.
The HR Coordinator will facilitate the care and support of employees to ensure they remain engaged and inspired members of our team.
As part of this process, the HR Coordinator will assess and improve our benefits education, leave management, and employee onboarding.
This person will also assist our Talent Acquisition team in screening candidates, scheduling phone screens and interviews, and keeping communications with candidates running smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Responsibilities:
Model Servant-leadership and a helpful approach with all employees of the organization.
Represent our company professionally with all candidates, treating them with respect and providing them with timely responses to their inquiries.
Display very strong written and verbal communication skills.
Communicate positively and directly with all internal and external points of contact.
Enter all employee benefit changes into UKG each pay day.
Help to ensure all information in the UltiPro Employee Onboarding portal is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Update bulletin board with information pertaining to our mission every 2 to 3 months, such as breast cancer awareness information, childhood cancer information, Relay for Life volunteer drive and facts about American Cancer Society, etc.
Deliver employee benefit orientation sessions, ensuring employees understand our offerings and how to get enrolled.
Maintain an up-to-date employee anniversary and birthday calendar on the intranet Maintain personnel records, both physical and electronic Assist employees with general HRIS and human resources questions Upload employee photos and employee Favorites lists into UKG Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate support to all employees when they have inquiries Maintain strictest confidence regarding employee information, including any compensation, medical, performance, or other sensitive information at all times Recruiting Support and other HR Tasks:
Help maintain an applicant tracking system with high integrity and accuracy Coordinate travel and logistics for scheduling on-site interviews, and communicate decisions and next steps to candidates Assist with ensuring applicant pool is managed effectively with timely communication to applicants Assist in coordinating pre-employment background checks, LEIE checks, and drug screening Draft Introduction emails for each new hire, and send to the hiring manager to edit and send out to all new employees.
Assist with Human Resources initiatives and projects as time allows or need necessitates.
Required Education and/or Experience Minimum of two years of experience or education in Recruiting, benefits, and/or Human Resources required.
Other Useful Skills and Abilities PHR or SHRM-CP certification helpful.
Strong communication, organizational, relationship building, and interviewing skills.
Ability to handle interactions positively and credibly.
Understanding of talent acquisition strategies and tactics with a focus on effective networking practices.
High sense of discretion and confidentiality with an ability to translate talent acquisition success into business results.

Work Environment This position is a professional, part time role, offering a flexible schedule and averaging approximately 20 hours per week.
Hours of work will occur Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
Some weeks may be more or less than 20 hours, depending on business needs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
