Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Manager promotes, provides leadership, and drives continuous improvement in maintenance.

oMaintenance LeadershipoLeading the Maintenance team and developing the maintenance skills of the team in alignment with company goals.
oImproving preventative / predictive maintenance program to reduce unscheduled downtime.
oDeveloping, implementing, and driving the utilization of the computerized maintenance management system within the business.
oDeveloping critical spare parts program for all equipment on the site.
oMaintaining existing plant facilities and equipment; replacing or adjustingplant facilities and equipment when necessary.
oImproving calibration program in compliance with ISO13485 requirements oProject Leadership:
oLeading small facilities-based capital improvement projects under $25,000 in scope.
Establishes budget, schedule, and resource requirements to successfully complete the projectoWorking with the appropriate regulatory personnel (township, etc.
) to ensure that proposed projects meet code requirementsoFacilities Leadership:
oPartnering with purchasing to develop and maintain an approved contractors list.
oOverseeing facility-based service contractors (e.
g.
, landscaping, snow removal suppliers, cleaning services, etc.
).
oPartnering with quality assurance and regulatory compliance teams to ensure that Qfix is audit ready especially around preventative maintenance and pest control requirements.
oUtilizing Lean Manufacturing techniques to drive improvementsJob Requirements:
oAssociates degree and at least 5 years of experience in Facilities and Maintenance Supervision OR equivalent combination of education and experience should be combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments in manufacturing/maintenance leadership, and satisfying customers in a high mix / low volume manufacturing company.
oDemonstrated safety mindset and practice.
oKnowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and EPA regulations.
oFamiliarity with machine guarding, interlocks, rigging, anchoring, and safely moving industrial equipment.
oWorking knowledge of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation controls, and HVAC systems.
oExperience with preventative maintenance and calibration systems.
oAbility to lead root cause investigations.
oFamiliarity with other shop operations; welding, soldering, light machining, sheet metal fabrication, fasteners.
oProficient in Microsoft Office and have a general understanding of business operating systems.
Preferred:
oExperience in the medical device industry.
oExperience with ISO 13485.
oExperience with CMMS.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
